What happens during a Meal Pack Event?

Volunteers from our community come together to assemble meal packages for people facing hunger. No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to help!

 

SETUP: Prepare the tables and equipment.

PACKING: Receive brief training and then gather to pack meals.

CLEAN UP: Box the meals, organize and wash the equipment, and clean up.

In January of 2025, we raised $3000 to help feed hungry neighbors.

71 Volunteers gathered to set up, fill meal bags, and clean up.

9,120 meals packed for emergency needs.

 

In January 2026, we raised $5000 to feed hungry people.

We packed 14,880 meals for emergency needs!

Plans are coming together for Meal Packing 2027... 

APRIL 2027 is the next meal packing event!

Registration for our April 2027 event opens March 1.

Volunteers must register in advance and be at least 12 years old.

​

You don't have to attend Suamico United Methodist church to participate.

Everyone in the community who meets the age requirement is welcome!
