It’s been reported that the United States of America has the largest Christian population in the world. Roughly 65 % of Americans identify as Christians. If all American Christians do what Jesus said, “Treat others with respect and kindness, Work for justice and peace. Accept one another as brothers and sisters in God,” then we will make America a slice of heaven on earth.

Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord, help us to put our faith into action. May our thoughts, words and actions be expressions of the holy spirit that dwells in our hearts! Use us as the instruments of your peace. Amen.
