 “The seed is the word of God.”  - Luke 8:10

An idea, a thought, an image, and a word have the power to create a reality. God’s words that touch our hearts and minds can transform individuals, our society and the world. God’s words correct the wrong, empower the powerless, comfort the afflicted, and afflict the comfortable. God speaks to us whenever we are willing to listen. R.W. Emerson said, “Let us be silent so that we may hear the whisper of God.”
 
Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord, without God’s word, we are just a body made of clay. Our body is an earthen vessel where the spirit of God resides. Clean our hearts so that our hearts are ready to receive God’s words. Help us to live our lives by following God’s spirit. Amen.
