![]() Spiritual Vitamins (5/22/2020) by Pastor Jerry Cho “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” - Proverbs 16:31 It’s been said, “Getting old is not for sissies.” Getting old is tough. But the other option is worse. The Bible has a positive saying about getting old: “Gray hair is a crown of glory.” As tulips and daffodils bloom in the spring, mums and asters bloom in the fall. While young people flaunt their youthful beauty, old people have the advantage of emotional maturity and wisdom. Robert E. Browning wrote, “Come, grow old with me. The best is yet to be.” Today’s prayer: Dear Lord, we pray for elderly people in the nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Help them to feel that they are not alone but God is with them.
