                  “I did not come to be served, but to serve.”  - Matthew 20:28
The world becomes like hell when people cheat, steal, rob, and kill other people. But Jesus came to make the world the kingdom of God where people serve and love one another. Jesus practiced what he preached. Jesus fed the hungry, helped the poor, healed the sick, and welcomed the social outcasts. Jesus was hurt, but did not hurt back. Jesus said to us, “Follow me.” By following Jesus, we make a slice of heaven on earth.

Let us pray for Pastor Eric and family: Dear Lord, we pray for Pastor Eric’s recovery from coronavirus. Give him the spirit and strength to overcome this disease and become well again. Comfort and strengthen Mary and their two daughters in this tough time. In Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
