“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. – Luke 16:10
God sees our heart. If we are honest, reliable, and trustworthy with little things, God will entrust us with more important things. If we fail to be honest and trustworthy with little things, chances are that we will be dishonest and untrustworthy with bigger things. God is watching us from a distance. God may be testing us to see how honest and trustworthy we are before blessing us with bigger things.
Dear Lord, we all want to be rich and powerful. But God is watching whether we are honest and trustworthy. Help us to believe that being poor with honesty is better than being rich with dishonesty. Amen.
1. The fewer the words, the better the prayer. – Martin Luther
2. Prayer is a two-way proposition. After talking to God, why not listen to Him a little while?
– The Rev. Canon Samuel Shoemaker
3. I am like a little pencil in God’s hand. He does the writing. The pencil has nothing to do with it. -Mother Teresa
