“There is one who scatters, yet increases all the more.” – Proverbs 11:24
I have two friends in Korea. One is a spender. As he spends more than he earns, he is always poor, always in debt. The other is a saver. As he works hard and saves hard, he is more than self-sufficient but selfish. Neither of them is a giver. One can’t give. The other won’t give. John Wesley was different. John Wesley lived frugally for himself but generously for people in need. The more we bless other people, the more blessed we will become. Jesus said, “The miracle is this: The more you give, the more you will receive.”
Dear Lord, help us to live frugally so that we may have extra. Help us to live generously so that we may bless others by sharing our extras. Amen.

2. The look on your face doesn’t mean anything. When you open your mouth, that’s what’s real.
3. There is a time to take counsel of your fears, and there is a time to never listen to any fear.
