“Hush, be still!” – Mark 4:39
When we are under stress, we are prone to feel threatened, defensive, or angry. When our emotions of fear are churned and our feelings of anger flare up, we say or do things we normally don’t. When his disciples felt shaken up by the storms of life, Jesus said, “Hush, be still.” When our hearts are disturbed by the storms of fear, anger, and worries, let’s imagine Jesus saying to our hearts, “Hush, be still!.” After a storm comes a calm.
Let’s pray “The Serenity Prayer"
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.”

2. You make your own luck. Luck is the residue of design. – Larry King
3. Silence is the element on which great things fashion themselves.
