O Lord, give me strength to live today, to be aware enough to do good, and loving enough to care for those around me. Amen.

The shadow of a flower on my tea
tells me more about beauty
than any art museum.
We reflect You
like a lake reflects the sky.
Rain dribbles down the window pane
wringing water from the clouds
releasing long-held grief from the forgotten past.
The Lord is seeking
Weak hearts wanting to be strong
Cold spirits longing for warmth
Darkened minds desiring light.
He loves empty places
where he can make his home with us.

​O Lord, open my eyes to the workings of your Spirit, that I may know the guiding hand of your presence throughout my day. Amen.
