Youth group continues to meet virtually via Zoom videoconferencing every Wednesday from 6:30-8pm. Niki sends an email with the log in information every week and also posts it on her facebook page on Wednesday afternoon. All youth groupers AND Joy Groupers are welcome to join in.
Something new and exciting…we have teamed up with an organization called You Matter to spread positive messages of hope and caring during this time. You will start seeing yard signs in front of people’s home to let them know we are all in this together and everyone needs to take this one day at a time. There are ten messages total. Here is an example of the signs. Each youth is posting the sign in the yard of a loved one for a couple days and then they are in charge of moving it to another home and so on, until the sequestering is over. If you would like to have a sign posted in someone’s yard, contact Niki at firstname.lastname@example.org. Together we’re going to let the community know “Don’t Give Up!”.
Lastly, we still hope to have a rummage sale, but obviously that is postponed until further notice. Please hold onto your donations as we’d still love to have them when the Safer At Home order is lifted. Niki
