Spiritual Vitamins (5/20/2020) by Pastor Jerry Cho

“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink.”
                                             - Proverbs 25:21

It’s been said that there are three kinds of people; spider-like people who take advantage of powerless people, ant-like people who save only for themselves, and bee-like people who spread good everywhere. Ordinary people like their friends and hate their enemies. But extraordinary people do good not just to their friends but also to their enemies. May God help us to be extraordinary people who do good to our enemies as well as to our friends.

Today’s prayer: Dear Lord, we pray for farmers. We hear that dairy farmers dump their milk and pig farmers shoot their pigs because their chain of business is obstructed by this Covid-19 pandemic. Factories are shut down because the workers are infected by the coronavirus. Give them hope, strength, and resiliency so that they will survive and thrive. Amen.

1.    It is part of the cure to wish to be cured.  -Seneca
2.    It is pointless to go on asking, “Why me?” The only worthwhile question is, “Where do I go  from here?”  - Sheldon Kopp
3.    Life is short and we never have enough time for gladdening the hearts of those who travel the way with us. Oh, be swift to love! Make haste to be kind.    – Henri Frederick Amiel
