![]() Spiritual Vitamins (5/18/2020) by Pastor Jerry Cho “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” – Luke 9:62 A farmer can’t plow a field by looking behind him. He must look forward. When playing golf, we don’t look back. We press on toward the next hole. No matter how good or bad, the past is past and gone. We cannot change the past. We have to press on toward the next goal of our lives. As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Today’s prayer: Dear Lord, we spend too much time reminiscing about the past, regretting past mistakes. Liberate us from the slavery of the past and set us free to move on toward the bright future. Amen. 1. The art of living is more like wrestling than dancing. – Marcus Aurelius 2. Our infirmities help us unexpectedly. – William James 3. There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will. – Epictetus Jerry Cho: 920-373-3081 Comments are closed.
