Dear SUMC members and friends,
How are you and your loved ones? Blessings to you all! Pastor Jerry Spiritual Vitamins (4/13/2020) by Pastor Jerry Cho “Comfort, O comfort My people” – Isaiah 40:1 Sickness, suffering, and death are indispensable parts of our lives. There are people in the world who are sick and yet cannot afford medical care. There are people who cannot afford housing. There are people who are fighting life-threatening diseases. There are people who are grieving over the loss of their loved ones. God says to us, “Comfort, O comfort My people.” Comfort one another! Today’s prayer for terminally ill patients, Dear Lord, there are people at this moment who are critically ill and face the sunset of their lives. Give them peace of mind and courage to take a leap of faith into the mystery beyond the curtain of death. Amen. 1. Our bodies are our gardens, to which our wills are gardeners. - William Shakespeare 2. You cannot sincerely try to help another without helping yourselves. - Ralph Waldo Emerson 3. Seldom can a heart be lonely if it seeks one lonelier still. - Frances Ridley Havergal Comments are closed.
