Music Ministry Director
Suamico United Methodist Church is pleased to welcome Hannah Pozorski as the new Music Ministry Director.
Hannah grew up in Manitowoc in an earth home designed and built by her father. There, her family practiced a fully sustainable life style and continue to do so. Currently she resides in the De Pere area.
Hannah’s introduction to music began when, as a shy young girl, she began piano lessons. It was at that point, music became her way to gain confidence and become more social. Throughout her years of school, Hannah played several instruments, she continued with her passion for music by attending the University of Wisconsin Green Bay (UWGB). She holds a degree in music with a minor in Arts Management. Currently she works at Hobby Lobby as a supervisor and also teaches piano lessons to beginning level students. She is inspired by how music is a universal language connecting people of all ages and locations.
In addition to music, Hannah enjoys cooking, organic gardening and various craft activities. Her wish is to one day own a bed and breakfast where she would hold classes teaching people how to live a fully sustainable life style.
Hannah will be directing the choir and leading rehearsals, as well as working with Pastor Dee on music for worship. She will continue to be the church accompanist. Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Adults of all ages, as well as students 9th grade and up, are invited to attend. The Choir sings praises on the first three Sundays of the month during the 10:30 am Sunday worship service.
