The Men's Group meets the first Saturday of the month from October thru May from 7:30 am - 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall for Breakfast.
As we start looking to the fall, we have opportunities to make this year’s Men’s Group the best yet. Several of the ideas listed below will really add to the dynamics of the group and I’m sure will bring interest among others in our congregation. If you are interested in leading a particular event or have interest in organizing an activity or meeting topic, please contact Tony Fischer at either 920-434-1168 or tony.fischer@us.logicalis.com.
Group Coordinator Opening:
There is an open invitation to all men of the church to be a part of this group and there is an open position for the Men’s Group coordinator. Tony Fischer has led the efforts of getting things started for the past three years and we are looking for new leadership and ideas to be brought in. Tony will still be involved and can assist anyone interested with planning of items, but we are looking for somebody else to set the agendas and direction of the group for the next year. Some of the suggested ideas for the group as we move forward are:
· Pheasant Hunt/Trap Shooting Day in early October 2011
· Youth Mentoring Options for Teen Youth interested in knowing more about the outdoors.
· Group Member Presentations – What is your background, life story, interests, etc?
(These have been very interesting in the past and a great way for all of us to learn more about each other.)
· New Location/Dates/Times for Meetings
We have a good base to start on with the group, but need to add a few others to really start making an impact. If you have ideas, suggestions or
